TAIDEN kicked off 2025 with a remarkable presence at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 in Barcelona, the global audiovisual industry's most influential exhibition. During the event, the prestigious Inavation Awards ceremony brought together industry leaders and innovators from around the world to celebrate excellence in AV integration. This year, 85 projects made it to the shortlist, and the UN Africa Hall renovation project—powered by TAIDEN’s solutions—was honored with an Inavation Award in the Government & Public Sector category, standing out among eight finalists.
The UNECA Africa Hall, established in 1961 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, stands as a testament to modern African history and has evolved into a world-class conference and cultural venue. As the conference system solution provider for this landmark project, TAIDEN played a crucial role in revitalizing this iconic venue, seamlessly blending modern conference capabilities with the hall's rich cultural heritage.
Leveraging its proprietary audiovisual technology, TAIDEN equipped the Africa Hall with three key innovations: a robust high-definition digital conference system, an advanced paperless multimedia congress system, and sustainable E-ink electronic nameplates. These solutions transformed the hall’s conferencing capabilities, enhancing accessibility, collaboration, and environmental sustainability. By strategically integrating with existing infrastructure, the project optimized functionality, creating a modern conference space defined by intelligence, efficiency, and convenience.
With TAIDEN’s advanced conference systems, Africa Hall is now future-ready. Following the success of the UNOG Room XIX project, which won an Inavation Award in 2020, this latest recognition further solidifies TAIDEN’s reputation for excellence. Inspired by this achievement, we remain committed to pushing boundaries, knowing that our solutions continue to enhance global communication and collaboration.
