From October 12 to 18, 2026, the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group took place in Bangkok, Thailand, bringing together more than 15,000 delegates from 191 countries and regions to exchange views on the global economy. Marking Thailand's return as host after 35 years, this major global economic and financial multilateral event featured a dense schedule of plenary sessions, ministerial meetings, and side events, requiring the conference system to deliver exceptional stability, compatibility, and multilingual service capabilities.
To ensure the smooth running of the Annual Meetings, TAIDEN provided end-to-end technical support for the 32 conference rooms. Based on the usage requirements of different meeting areas, TAIDEN developed dozens of tailored solutions that achieved full-scenario coverage while accommodating individualized needs, and deployed more than 6,000 conference terminals in total. These included fully digital conference systems, digital infrared wireless conference systems, simultaneous interpretation systems, and automatic camera tracking systems.
Designed around the delegate experience, the four systems work in concert to meet the diverse needs of different venues and agendas:
Fully digital conference systems ensure clear, stable audio in fixed venues;
Digital infrared wireless conference systems offer easy deployment and flexible adaptation;
Simultaneous interpretation systems support real-time multilingual interpretation, with the most language-intensive venue at this year's Annual Meetings requiring seven languages;
Automatic camera tracking systems dynamically adjust the view to follow the speaker's position.
In addition to conference system equipment, TAIDEN drew on its long-established global engineering execution standards and end-to-end service capabilities. It dispatched a dedicated technical support team of senior engineers to cover system installation, integrated commissioning and testing, multiple rounds of pre-event testing, and on-site support throughout the event, ensuring the stable and coordinated operation of multiple systems and providing strong support for the smooth running of the meetings. Having previously taken part in the IMF Annual Meetings in 2010, 2011 and 2018, TAIDEN once again successfully supported this global financial dialogue platform with its professional team and proven experience.
