From May 19 to 23, the 29th World Gas Conference (WGC2025), one of the most influential events in the global energy sector, took place in Beijing, bringing together over 3,000 delegates from 70 countries at the China National Convention Center (Phase II). TAIDEN supported the event with its digital infrared simultaneous interpretation solution, ensuring smooth multilingual communication across more than 80 high-level forums with proven technological excellence.
A key innovation at this event was TAIDEN’s implementation of the Interpreter Hub for the venue. By enabling intelligent interconnection between meeting rooms and interpreter booths via Ethernet, TAIDEN built a flexible interpretation management platform that supports both centralized and distributed deployment. This design not only overcomes spatial constraints but also significantly improves resource efficiency and system maintenance. It offers rapid adaptability for last-minute schedule changes or emergency demands.
At the heart of the interpretation setup were TAIDEN’s HCS-8685 64-Channel Simultaneous Interpreter Unit, capable of handling up to 64 channels (including floor audio) simultaneously. Equipped with a 6.8-inch TFT LCD high-resolution screen, these units deliver a smarter, safer, and more efficient experience for interpreters.
Across the venue’s 3,500 seats, TAIDEN digital infrared receivers ensured uninterrupted interpretation, even in environments with high-frequency lighting interference. Each receiver supports 40 (1+39) channels and features a built-in LCD display and an ultra-wide 270° reception angle, enabling participants to move freely within signal range while enjoying crystal-clear, stable audio.
