TAIDEN, a leader in professional conference and communication systems, has partnered with Escort Group to successfully implement the state-of-the-art multimedia conference system and simultaneous interpretation system at the Moscow Regional Duma, significantly enhancing legislative efficiency and enabling seamless multilingual communication.

The meeting room now features 90 HCS-8668 series paperless multimedia congress terminals, featuring multiple customized functions tailored to the Duma's legislative procedures. Each terminal, equipped with a 14-inch full HD touch display, allows deputies to efficiently participate in debates, access documents, and cast votes through intuitive interfaces. Additionally, the chairman's units provide comprehensive management of speaking queues and debate moderation, ensuring smoother and more organized parliamentary discussions.

The system facilitates fast sign-ins via IC cards, allowing participants to quickly register their attendance. It also supports multiple voting methods, adaptable to the needs of various meetings. The streamlined voting procedure displays results automatically on the screen, ensuring transparency and reducing the time needed for decision-making.

TAIDEN’s paperless conference functions have transformed document management. Deputies can now access, review, and collaborate on documents in real time, with content synchronized across all terminals and displayed on the main hall screen. This not only streamlines the legislative process but also reduces paper usage, contributing to a more environmentally friendly and efficient operation.

The system also boasts advanced video conferencing capabilities, making it much easier for remote deputies to participate fully in proceedings. Each terminal is equipped with an integrated 8-megapixel camera, ensuring high-definition video communication that enables seamless interaction of all participants.

To meet the needs of a diverse, multilingual conference, TAIDEN has provided robust support through the HCS-5100 simultaneous interpretation system. Powered by TAIDEN’s proprietary digital infrared technology, the system ensures secure and high-quality interpretation services throughout the chamber.

The HCS-5100T series radiators are strategically placed to ensure optimal signal coverage, while the HCS-5100R series digital infrared receivers provide access to up to 64 interpretation channels. The receivers feature a 270° ultra-wide reception angle, allowing users to move freely within the coverage area. Additionally, the user-friendly LCD displays show channel numbers and language names for easy identification, making it easier for deputies and participants to navigate the system.

This comprehensive system integration supports everything from basic parliamentary functions to complex multilingual debates and remote collaborations. The user-friendly interface has been quickly adopted by deputies, while the system’s robust technical infrastructure ensures reliable performance during critical sessions.

With this advanced system, the Moscow Regional Duma operates more efficiently, transparently, and sustainably, setting a benchmark for modern legislative bodies. By embracing cutting-edge technology, the Duma has enhanced its operations while preserving the integrity and formality essential to parliamentary proceedings.
