The Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly is the state legislature of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria. The House of Assembly provides certain services for the good of Akwa Ibomites and ensures the citizens' rights are protected. The purpose of the House of Assembly is to "provide information on the scope of responsibilities, services, and commitment for the entire people of Akwa Ibom State".

In order to match the stately and hallowed atmosphere of the House of Assembly, transmit government information clearly and improve the efficiency of the decision-making process, the House of Assembly installed 44 TAIDEN HCS-4890 Fully Digital Congress System Units. HCS-4890 Series are a completely updated generation of the HCS-4800 Series, with an all-in-one design of tactile buttons and an LCD touch screen for multiple functions.

The terminal that is installed in the House of Assembly has five voting keys, ensuring the smooth voting process of every participant. It also has a built-in contactless IC-Card slot to realize the sign-in function and attendance statistics. Every conferencing feature you want to implement during a meeting can be found in this integrated terminal. What's more, all these powerful functions are owed to the main unit—TAIDEN HCS-4800MA Fully Digital Congress System Main Unit. The main unit conforms to the latest ISO Standard 22259 and adopts the MCA-STREAM 2.0 Transmission Protocol, which cooperates with audio input/output devices and can input digital/analog audio signals from multiple channels.
