From September 15th to October 3rd, 2015, nearly one thousand field size meetings including the Sustainable Development Summit, the High-Level Roundtable on South-South Cooperation, the Global Summit of Women, the Annual General Debate and the Leaders' Summit on Peacekeeping marking the 70th anniversary of the UN were organized. And those meetings are used throughout TAIDEN conference system.

General Debate of 70th session of UN General Assembly

On September 28, the General Debate kicked off at the UN General Assembly hall, which is the most famous and the largest conference hall at UN Headquarters. TAIDEN, the UN's handpicked conference system supplier, has provided more than 10,000 conference units for over 18 meeting rooms such as the General Assembly hall and the Security Council Chamber. Notably, the General Assembly hall is equipped with over 1,800 units.

Leaders' Summit on Peacekeeping

The Summit was held on September 28 at the UN Headquarters, during which TAIDEN's systems was utilized.

Global Summit of Women

The Global Summit of Women, hosted by President Xi, took place on September 27. TAIDEN's Paperless Multimedia Congress Terminals, Electronic Nameplates and Fully Digital Conference Units were used throughout.

Xi meets with Nigerian President

President Xi also met with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari in New York. TAIDEN's embedded Fully Digital Conference Units, Electronic Nameplates and Single Earphone were in use during the meeting.

The Summit was held on September 26 in the UN General Assembly hall. Xi meets with UN Secretary General Ban

On September 26, President Xi met with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon at the UN Headquarters. The meeting kicked off in the Secretary General's meeting room, where TAIDEN's Digital Infrared Wireless Conference System HCS-5300 Series was used.

Peng Liyuan attended two UN events on women, children, education

Madame Peng Liyuan, Chinese First Lady, UNESCO Special Envoy for the Advancement of Girls and Women's Education, World Health Organization Goodwill Ambassador for Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS attended in the afternoon of September 26 the high-level meeting of the Global Education First Initiative and the opening ceremony of the "Every Woman and Every Child" global movement at the invitation of UN chief Ban Ki-moon.
