On December 11–12, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Informal Senior Officials' Meeting convened in Shenzhen. Marking the first event hosted by China as the APEC host economy for 2026, the gathering brought together senior officials from all 21 APEC member economies for in-depth discussions under the overarching themes of "Openness, Innovation, and Cooperation."
TAIDEN, a conference system brand headquartered in Shenzhen with a global footprint, was once again entrusted with providing technical support for this high-level meeting, drawing on its proven reliability and extensive experience in servicing major international forums. The company deployed over 300 units of professional conference equipment to deliver a comprehensive, high-stability, secure, and high-fidelity audio solution for multiple key meeting rooms. The setup seamlessly integrated critical functions including delegate discussion, professional sound reinforcement, multi-language simultaneous interpretation, and multi-user collaborative control.

TAIDEN Coaxial Monitor Loudspeaker
The main stage in the plenary hall was equipped with HSM-112 coaxial monitor loudspeakers. Featuring a 12-inch coaxial driver design, these speakers eliminate phase interference common in multi-driver systems, ensuring uniform sound dispersion. The rear-loaded HF driver works in concert with the large LF driver to deliver precise vocal reproduction. With adjustable integrated feet, the enclosures can be easily angled to suit various stage configurations, providing clear and reliable audio to facilitate every dialogue.

TAIDEN Fully Digital Conference System
Built upon TAIDEN's proprietary MCA-STREAM digital audio processing and transmission technology, the system operates at a 48 kHz sampling rate for exceptional audio fidelity. Large-diaphragm gooseneck microphones ensure accurate voice pickup for every speaker. Redundancy is guaranteed through dual-system hot backup and Closed Loop-Daisy Chain, offering rock-solid stability to safeguard the proceedings of critical agendas.

TAIDEN Multi-User Conference Control Software
The software suite for the fully digital conference system is feature-rich and modular, allowing for customizable configurations to optimize functionality and control efficiency. Specifically for this meeting, a multi-user control system was implemented, supporting simultaneous operation from up to five control terminals. This enabled seamless teamwork among technicians, enhancing both the professionalism and flexibility required for managing a large-scale conference.

TAIDEN Digital IR Simultaneous Interpretation System
Fully digital interpreter units, installed in the interpretation booths, support simultaneous interpretation for up to 64 language channels (including the floor channel). Integrated features such as a speech-rate indicator and a mute function assist interpreters in maintaining precise timing and delivery, ensuring efficient and accurate translation.

Participants used TAIDEN digital infrared receivers at their seats to access the interpretation. Capable of selecting from 40 channels (1 floor + 39 interpretation) and featuring an LCD screen, these receivers provide an ultra-wide 270° reception angle. This allows delegates to move freely throughout the venue while enjoying stable, crystal-clear audio, unaffected by interference from ambient high-frequency light sources.
