Cloud-based video conferencing applications such as Zoom and Skype is prevailing owing to their convenience and cost efficiency.  Under the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic, the usage of virtual meetings become even more extensive.  However, when it comes to larger meeting with bigger conference room and more participants, acoustic issues such as poor sound quality and feedback arouse because of the far distance between the built-in microphone and the speakers.   

In order to tackle this problem, TAIDEN has lately developed a “Remote conferencing” feature on its conference main unit so that users can easily introduce TAIDEN professional conference microphones into cloud-based video conferencing applications by just connecting the TAIDEN main units and the PC with an USB cable.

Under this setting, attendees in the meeting room can each has an individual microphone to avoid getting too close to each other. This can also eliminate obstacles during meetings brought by acoustic feedback, echo and extremely low volume.
