As the leading brand in the conference systems industry, TAIDEN also this year, attended one of the most important platforms for product launches, the PALM EXPO held from June 7 to 10, 2013 in the New Venue of the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing.

During the fair, TAIDEN showcased the industry’s leading Paperless Multimedia Conference System which has been successfully applied in high profile venues like the United Nations Headquarters, the World Bank Headquarters, the Palazzo Lombardia of the Regione Lombardia Administration in Milano (Italy), the Zhejiang People’s Great Hall, the Gansu Exhibition Center etc.
TAIDEN also displayed the latest products that are applied in the United Nations Headquarters project, including HCS-48U7, HCS-48U8 and HCS-4325 series of Fully Digital Conference Units, HCS-8301M Digital Audio Mixer for Conferences, HCS-1030U Electronic Nameplates, HCS-8300MX/F Booth Combiners, HCS-8302MX/24 General Controller for Booth Combiners, etc. These new products undoubtedly represent the new unparalleled standards for the most prestigious conference venue. The products were developed by TAIDEN according to the UN headquarters’ requirements on features, quality and design. Originally only intended for the UN project, the scale of demand for the customized products was such that they have now gone into series production, available to everyone as standard products.

On the PALM Expo 2013, TAIDEN also showcased the world’s first Digital HD Recorder for Conferences, HCS-8130M which has the following features:
1. The first professional audio & video recorder for conference in the world, especially designed for high-level meetings
2. Professional audio & video quality
　　a. Broadcast standard audio quality (24bit/48kHz audio sampling)
　　b. HD video quality (1080p).
3. Special indexing and sorting feature for video & audio files, especially designed for conferences
　　a. Search by time, keywords of conference name or room name, etc.
　　b. Search by type, keywords of speaker or topic, name of interpreter booth, simultaneous interpretation channel, etc.
4. Special multi-channel simultaneous interpretation recording function
　　a. Especially designed for audio & video recording and playing back for conference; one video channel has a maximum of 8 corresponding audio channels
5. Can cooperate with TAIDEN conference system to synchronously record or play back conference or can be used in stand-alone mode
Prior to the PALM Expo 2013, this product was used for HD recording during the 10th Anniversary of the Intelligent Building Committee of the China Construction Industry Association.

Before the start of the Expo, the China Entertainment Technology Association (CETA) launched an appraisal and election campaign to honor the 2012 “Enterprises with Strength”. The election was conducted through careful and strict screening of materials and evaluations. TAIDEN was very honored to win this laurel, after being elected as one of the “Top 20 Enterprises of the China Entertainment Technology Industry” in 2012. On the evening of June 7th, the TAIDEN General Manager Mr. Zhou Qingdong, who was present at the dinner party and awarding ceremony arranged by the committee, received the award on stage.
