The
four-day FDI (World Dental Federation) Annual World
Dental Congress was held in the Shenzhen Convention
and Exhibition Center (CEC) from September 22 rd to
25th. It was the biggest academic meeting ever held
in China. Vice prime minister of the State Council and
member of Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee
Wu Yi attended and addressed the opening ceremony.
More than
8000 dentists from 90 countries showed up at the opening
ceremony and some 90 well-known experts in dental care
gave speeches, so there were 12 experienced interpreters
in 6 languages working for the four-day congress.
All the meeting rooms are equipped with TAIDEN fully
digital conference system. In total 800 sets of TAIDEN
HCS-4100 series fully digital conference discussion
and wired simultaneous interpretation equipment as well
as 2800 sets of TAIDEN HCS-826 Infra-red simultaneous
interpretation equipment were used in the congress.
