HCS-4100 FDCS consists of conference control unit(CCU), contribution units and application software. The CCU includes conference main unit(CMU) and Extension Main Unit(EMU). TAIDEN proprietary MCA-STREAM technology is the most essential technology in data transmission of the HCS-4100 system, i.e. transmitting up to 64CH high quality digital data, control data and other information data by a single dedicated 100Mbps high speed 6P cable. Conference/discussion units, voting units, interpretation units, channel selectors, and interpretation units, all adopt high performance CPU as their kernel, which constitutes the infrastructure of this advanced technology.

MCA-STREAM technology has throughly solved the noise caused by the ground wire in stereo projects and the interference brought by other equipments(such as stage lights, telerecording apparatus, etc.). SNR up to 96dB, the crosstalk distortion is lower than 85dB, and frequency response verging on 30-16KHz; making the system sound quality be close to CD;

Even in long range transmission, system can still provide Hi-Fi sound quality, which makes system widely suitable for various occasions such as mini/ medium type meeting room, large venues, stadiums, and so on.

HCS-4100 system software is designed and practised through the prevalent Client/Server structure. The client and server communicate with each other by using TCP/IP network protocol, ensuring both the security and transmission efficiency of the data. Not only can both client and server software run on the same computer, but also on different computers in the same LAN, thus makes the operator manage conference more flexibly.

HCS-4100 system software imports the hot-spare dual server structure by using the main server and back-up server. At the time main server processing data, it backups data onto the Back-up server real time. This structure prevents conference related information from the out-breaking disaster,and improves the security and reliability of conference system remarkably.

In PC controlled system, conference main unit communicates with PC by the advanced TCP/IP protocol. Theoretically, the communication distance between PC and CMU can be infinitely far away, which drastically changes the concept that 　the distance between PC and CMU cannot exceed the limitation of 15M in traditional RS-232 connection mode, thereby system can implement remote control, remote diagnosis and remote update.

The import of network techniques makes conference system tightly link with the rapid-developing internet technology, communication technology and computer science, which allows users to enjoy the convenience of the contemporary leading techniques, e.g. by using the compatible wireless LAN techniques(802.11), the newly-emerged PC, PDA can be used to control conference system wirelessly. HCS-4100 system is constructed in a modularized infrastructure. To construct a conference system, the only thing needed to be done is to connect up HCS-4100 system units in series by a "hand-in-hand" mode. If extra system capacity needed, you can easily connect units to the installed cabling from any access points.

By connecting with extension main units, HCS-4100 system can reach its maximum capacity: 378 simultaneous interpretation units(63 interpretation booths, 6 interpretation units in each), 4096 discussion/voting units and infinite channel selectors.

Conference main unit forms the core of the entire conference system, which provides power supply for all contribution units, meanwhile, serving as the key component to link system hardware with application software. In stand-alone mode without PC, the CMU only carries out basic management facilities; while more comprehensive management facilities can be implemented in PC-controlled mode.

Contribution units are the units which the participants use to contribute to a conference, including discussion unit, voting unit, interpretation unit, and language distribution unit, etc.the simple contribution unit only has a single facility(discussion/ voting/channel select, etc), whereas the senior ones consist of a combination of the discussion, voting and channel select facility , furthermore, Some even with built-in loudspeaker, IC Card reader and graphic 256x32 LCD with back-lighting to form a wide variety of product series. Unit with graphic LCD is able to receive short messages and display conference related information. Chairman unit has the priority and some unique facilities concerning conference management.

Interpretation unit is equipped with graphic 256x32 LCD with back-lighting, channel selector, built-in loudspeaker, pluggable microphone and headphone sockets, etc. It provides direct and relay interpretation(with auto-relay facility)operation mode and optional voice input/output mode, simplifying interpreter's work remarkably.

Discussion unit are the contribution units with discussion function and other facilities, including chairman unit and delegate unit. by appearance, discussion unit can be divided into A/ C/ D/ E/ F/ M/ L styles. Each style consists of various products, which significantly enriches users' choices.
