With
the developing of Internet, people know it more and more. Under

than before for it’s extend using. In the AV network, it’s also
become trend. We can see that all of the audio products develop
the connection by CAT5, as intelligence projector, digital conference
system, central control system, matrix and switcher.
When
using CAT5, RJ485 connector should be used also, here, we would
like to Explain the hidden troubles when it used in conference system.
CAT5 haven’t any problems itself, but when it equipped with RJ485
connector, There will be deadliness troubles.
As we know, the power transmit is very delicacy in internet, it’s
mainly data transmit. but the conference unit (chairman & delegate)
is no power supply. Power supply and data transmit are provided
by a cable. The consumption of every conference unit is about 100mA，so,
if there are 20pcs conference units connected in one system, the
consumption will be 2A。but there is only a very small spot between
RJ45 socket and RJ45 socket, for the delicacy connection between
them, when the current is large then will strike fire and damage
the connector. Also, when people use portable conference units,
they will pull off the units often, then the small spot on RJ45
connector will become flexible or fall off. (just like our Telephone
and Tel line, there is always badness connection between them) even
if people pull off the connector when the power transmit from there,
the connector will be fired. So, it’s completely can’t be accepted
in the conference system. In some conference system ( units connect
one by one), when there is only one conference units with problems
caused, the whole system can’t be working any more, especially
in voting system. so, we must keep the connection is fastness, security
